I asked Vanessa and Colin what they enjoyed doing together so we could incorporate their hobbies into their engagement photo session.  Colin plays guitar and he also coaches a hockey team.  Vanessa loves listening to Colin and she was game to go skating with him as well.

I submitted the photo you see below to the PPOC (Central Portrait Branch)’s monthly competition and it won a merit award!  I think it nicely sums up how Colin feels about playing for Vanessa and how Vanessa feels about listening to him play.

We drove to the Markham Civic Centre’s skating rink for a few photos. It was extremely cold, so we didn’t last too long.

The Starbucks in Unionville has awesome window light!

We risked it and took a few photos on the train tracks.  No trains came.

Vanessa brought the flowers to the session to add a pop of colour to the photos.

Congrats again on your engagement! I’m looking forward to photographing your wedding at King Valley Golf Club in a few weeks!
